I was commissioned by Sotheby’s London to design the spatial experience for Pauline Karpidas: The London Collection, transforming the pre-sale exhibition into an immersive narrative environment.

The design drew upon Karpidas’s remarkable life and distinctive visual world - from her working-class beginnings in Manchester and early modelling career in London to the fashion boutique she established in Athens, where she met Constantinos Karpidas. I translated this story, together with the theatrical interiors of her London home, into a series of sculptural environments exploring memory, place and transformation.

The exhibition attracted extensive international press coverage, including a feature in The Observer. The subsequent white-glove auctions realised £101 million ($137 million), becoming the most valuable single-owner sale ever staged in London.
